Our story began back in 2013 at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Briana was a freshman, Tay was a sophomore, and we met through mutual friends. Back then, it was nothing more than a quick “hey” in passing; no sparks, no plans, just vibes and campus life. Tay is from Greenwood, SC, and Briana is from Chester, SC, both close enough to Aiken, but life eventually pulled us in different directions. Briana left Aiken, but somehow Tay still made it to her social media feed. We weren’t in touch, but every now and then Tay would pop up with a message. Fast forward to May 2, 2020, Tay reached out again, and this time Briana decided to give it a chance and see where things could go. From that day on, we haven’t gone a single day without talking. What started as a simple conversation turned into a deep connection, and before we knew it, we fell in love. We’ve grown together, prayed together, laughed together, and supported each other through every season. Our love is built on friendship, faith, and a whole lot of grace, with God as the head of our relationship. Now here we are, ready to say “I do,” and forever grateful that God’s timing is always perfect.
