FAQs

We’re thrilled that you’ll be joining us for our wedding! To help you prepare for our special day, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions. Whether you’re curious about the details of the event, accommodations, or what to wear, we hope this information will assist you. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than February 1st. This will help us finalize our headcount and make all necessary arrangements. We appreciate your timely response and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:15pm. We recommend arriving early to park, find a seat, and settle in. There may be traffic on the freeway, so please plan accordingly!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please come dressed in semi-formal/cocktail attire. *Note: The wedding will be 100% outdoors and it may get chilly, so dress accordingly.

Question

What is the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

Our venue has onsite parking for up to 200 cars. However, we'd appreciate if you could arrange to carpool with family/friends to ensure we have enough parking space to accommodate all of our guests and vendors.

Question

Will there be any accommodations for dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will have chicken, tri tip, and salads available for guests who are gluten, soy, and/or dairy free. For vegetarian/vegan diets, we will be serving pasta and breadsticks.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We won’t have an open bar or cash bar at the wedding. Instead, we’ll be offering a selection of wine and beer along with some non-alcoholic beverages for our guests to enjoy. We kindly ask that everyone enjoy the festivities responsibly and be mindful of their alcohol consumption. No outside alcohol is allowed on the property. If you decide to consume alcohol, please arrange for a designated driver or uber to drive you home safely. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The wedding reception will end by 9:30pm. Guests are asked to leave the venue no later than 10pm.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer plus ones for this celebration. Please only RSVP according to the name(s) listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we would love to include your entire family in our special day, we are not able to accommodate children for non-family members. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Should I bring my gift to the wedding or ship it to you directly?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you're welcome to ship your gift directly to us at 120 Nighthawk, Irvine, CA 92604. This will help make it easier for us to pack up at the end of the night. However, if you prefer to bring your gift, that’s perfectly fine too! A wedding card box will be at our reception :)

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We decided not to offer a hotel room block so that our guests can choose accommodations that best fit their needs and preferences. There are plenty of great options in Vista and the surrounding areas! If you’d like recommendations, check out the "travel" page on this website. We recommend booking early to secure your accommodations.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Vista in March is typically cool with a gentle breeze, with average highs of 69°F and lows of 47°F. We recommend checking in on the weather forecast closer to the date to get a more accurate report. Keep in mind that our venue is 100% outdoors. For your comfort, we will have some heaters placed around the reception space. In the event of rain, there are coverings for the ceremony and reception spaces. However, you may still want to bring an umbrella to ensure you stay dry while walking around.
