Briana and Chance's story begins sophomore year of college at Capital University, when they met through mutual friends. They would occasionally see each other at parties, gatherings with friends, and other social situations. Until, senior year, Chance decided to tell Briana that he had never seen the Marvel movies… big mistake. She immediately forced him to watch Captain America: The First Avenger, and they spent the whole afternoon together. Briana and Chance spent the next few weeks hanging out after class, walking around campus talking about themselves and getting to know each other a little better. After talking practically non-stop, their first official date consisted of dinner plans and Chance meeting Briana's childhood dog (coincidentally also named "Chance"). On September 19th, 2021, Chance asked Briana to be his girlfriend. The next three years flew by. From meeting each other’s families to renting their first apartment together, Briana and Chance have been inseparable ever since. On September 21st, 2024, Chance asked Briana to marry him. This was a beautiful day filled with so much love… and a little shenanigans. Chance had Briana's two roommates from college, Jillian and Liz, convince her that they needed updated headshots for their LinkedIn profiles, and there was a park that they wanted to explore. So, the day was planned for the four of them to go to the Clintonville Park of Roses to take photos. They made their way through the park, with Briana unaware of what was about to happen. After making it through some photos, Chance insisted on taking pictures in front of the fountain at the front of the park. So, they all made their way over and Liz made an excuse for Briana to turn and face the fountain (she said Briana's hair clip matched the roses and wanted to get an ~aesthetic~ photo), and in that moment, everything stopped. Briana then turned back around, and there Chance was, on one knee with her dream ring that she had pointed out to him a few months before. He kept his speech short and sweet (knowing she wouldn’t remember it anyway), she said "Yes!", and then the celebrations began! And now, after adopting their dog Winston, finishing 4 degrees, traveling the world together, and buying their first home, Briana and Chance are ready to begin their next chapter. On September 19th, 2026, the happy couple will say "I do," exactly 5 years (to the day) later! They can’t wait to see you there!
