Briana and Chad originally met in 2013 at a Johnson Controls kickball tournament. Always just friends and coworkers, they frequently saw each other at social events in Milwaukee. Fast forward to 2015, the two found themselves at a house party and the spark was there! One holiday party and few snowy truck rides later, the two made it official. After only a few months of dating, Briana packed up and chased a job out to Philadelphia. Fully aware Briana might not like her new job or city (she did), the two decided to stay long distance. But it was clear early on that Philly was going to be their new home. So Chad (and Lily) moved out to Philly in 2017. Since then Briana and Chad have been enjoying the city of brotherly love. From the city's first Super Bowl win, to the birth of Gritty, they've been soaking it all in!

What started as a frustrating couple of days for Briana due to Chad's “lack of planning” on a trip to Wisconsin, ended up being one of the most memorable weekends of their lives. Thanks to the help of friends and family near and far, Chad surprised Briana for the first time in their relationship. The two arrived at Merriment Social for what Briana thought was cousin Jeff's birthday brunch, only this was not about Jeff at all. As they approached the venue, Chad asked Briana if she would spend the rest of her life as his teammate, and she said yes!
