We briefly brushed shoulders a few times in the hallways of high school before officially meeting one another. It wasn’t until a mutual friend of ours took Avery’s phone and sent the life changing text. It read, “Hey Sexy Mama”. It then turned into summers of drive-in movies and sing-screaming songs at the top of our lungs. We instantly clicked and became the best of friends, all thanks to the text that turned into our forever.

After getting home at the very early hours of the morning (2 am precisely) on Christmas Day, we both could not wait for a reasonable time to open presents, so we did it right then. Avery received a much wanted Electric Toothbrush. Briana received something sparkly tied onto her new kittens collar. It took some coaxing to get the kitten to play along but, it all led to Avery getting down on one knee, and the rest is history.
