It all started when Briana was posting food while having dinner at Bottega Louie. I had to slide in her DMs and said I’d get her the box of chocolates with Veuve for Valentine's Day. Which she is still waiting for... However, i did get her to agree to go out on a date with me. Fast forward to our first date/dodger game where she had me meet her at the Azusa metro station because she wasn't sure if I was a serial killer or not. We got to the game, sat in our seats, and she proceeded to spill michelada mix on my dodger jersey. Briana says she knew I was a keeper because I upgraded her beer to a michelada without even asking. Then we went on to another adventure to the San Diego Zoo... where I was so excited to get on the road and head out. I was talking up a storm/doing my carpool karaoke and Briana told me "Don't talk for an hour." She claims she didn't. But if anyone knows Briana, you know I'm not lying. What I loved most about our adventures was the fact that every weekend she was up to try new food places. One of which was going to Yamashiro, where after receiving our SMALL food portions, we looked at each other and said "Tacos for sure after this?" I knew Junior was the one when he started to include himself in my plans to visit my grandparents and helped my grandpa trim the bushes even though he had nice sneakers on. If you know Junior you know how much sneakers mean to him. It was through joining him on his buying (sometimes secretly buying them and telling me, "He's had them"), reselling, and campout adventures, I have grown to enjoy the history behind sneakers. Many more sneaker adventures later, I knew Briana was the one when I came to the decision to sell my entire sneaker collection of about 250 pairs to purchase a very important ring. Which has brought us to this very special day, SoleMates forever.
