We can’t wait to celebrate with you at The Loving Events Venue, located at 1044 Starlight Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110. This beautiful space is the perfect place for us to say “I do,” and we’re overjoyed to share it with our favorite people on our favorite day!
We chose The Loving not only for its beauty, but for its meaning. Named in honor of Richard and Mildred Loving—the couple whose landmark Supreme Court case ended bans on interracial marriage—it’s a venue that truly celebrates love without limits. Once a historically Black church, The Loving has been thoughtfully transformed into a warm, inclusive space inspired by its founders’ own cross-cultural love story. For us, it represents unity, courage, and the kind of legacy we hope to build together. We know it’s a bit of a drive, and we are so grateful to those making the journey. This place holds deep personal meaning for us, and we believe the setting—and the love we’ll all share—will make it worth every mile. Thank you for traveling this road with us, in every sense.
Our ceremony begins promptly at 3:00pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:30pm and be seated by 2:45pm so you don’t miss a single moment of the magic!
No need to circle the block—there’s plenty of free parking right at the venue! A parking attendant will point you in the right direction so you can head straight to the fun!
Yes! We ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away during our ceremony so the only thing we see are your happy faces—not phones in the air. Don’t worry, you’ll get plenty of time for snapping pictures and selfies at the reception!
Our wedding day will be relaxed, romantic, and full of joy. We ask guests to dress in business casual attire—comfortable yet polished—and kindly request that white be reserved for the bride. We can’t wait to celebrate together!
Our vows will take place beneath the open sky, with the celebration continuing indoors right after. Please dress comfortably for the outdoor setting—and relax knowing everything happens right there, no extra travel required.
Rain or shine, the celebration goes on! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll work with our venue to either briefly delay the outdoor ceremony or move it indoors. We’ll keep everyone updated on the day of—so get ready to celebrate no matter what the skies bring!
Yes! We’ll be enjoying a cozy, buffet-style dinner catered by The Cake Lady and Charcuterrie Too, featuring BBQ favorites and comforting sides—perfect for celebrating together!
Yes! Our open bar will be flowing with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options—so come thirsty and ready to celebrate!
Our dance floor will be out on the patio, right beside the main building. If the weather’s on our side, we’ll be dancing under the stars —the perfect backdrop for the night! We recommend bringing comfy shoes so you can celebrate without missing a beat.
Our celebration will begin to wind down around 10:00pm as we make our grand exit and the DJ wraps up for the evening. We look forward to ending the night surrounded by the people we love most.
To keep our guest list close to heart and accommodate our intimate reception space, plus-ones will be invited by special invitation only. Thank you for helping us create a celebration filled with love, laughter, and meaning.
