FAQs

Question

What documents are necessary for travel to Aruba?

Answer

You will need a valid US passport for the duration of your stay (and for at least six months after your intended departure) and a completed Embarkation & Disembarkation Card (ED Card). The ED Card is your approval from Aruba's immigration to enter the country. Your ED Card is required for entry and needs to be completed no earlier than 6 days prior to your flight. Aruba charges a $20 sustainability fee for ED Cards. The card is mandatory and can be completed here: https://edcardaruba.aw/welcome Bring your passport & ED card and you're all set for paradise!

Question

Leaving Aruba- anything to know?

Answer

Yes! When departing Aruba, you'll clear U.S. Customs & Immigration right at the Aruba airport before your flight. This means when you land back in the States, you'll arrive as a domestic passenger- no extra customs lines after you land. Just be sure to allow a little extra time at the airport (we recommend arriving about 3 hours before your flight) to make the process smooth.
