Tobi and I met officially while attending SBU but have played each other in sports all through high school which we found to be a small world. Tobi and I both pursued our love of Social Work and became closer friends as we stayed up to all hours of the night procrastinating and drinking coffee. I am so blessed to call Tobi my best friend and she has taught me what it is to have a true friend. Last year I was blessed to be able to stand up for your special day and now you will be standing up for mine.

Ta'Mirra and I met at SBU our freshman year. The main thing that sticks out to me is how we bonded by going to the gym and shooting hoops and jumping on the big square mat and being completely weird. But my best memory is when we both decided that we wanted to keep each other in our lives because we knew God brought us together for a reason and boy was he right. We have had many adventures together and we will have many more adventures as well. Thank you for being such an amazing friend and sister to me! I am so glad that I got to watch you marry the love of your life and now you are standing by me as I marry mine.

I am so thankful that he is my dad I could not have asked for a better one. Over the years you have picked up the pieces more than I can count. You have always been there waiting patiently for me. I love talking with you every week and look forward to our conversation as we can get very deep but also keep it light and funny. I know I keep saying this but I truly mean it, this year we will get a deer together! I love you man!

Michelle and I met when I worked my 4 months in residential. But when we really met was when we both fell into each other’s laps and ended up being roommates and later friends. We have had many nights of staying up way past “her bedtime” since I am a night owl lol talking about anything and everything. Michelle has taught me what it means to love the Lord and sing his praises in a deep way. I am glad to have her by my side.
