What should I wear? What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress to impress! We may be having a wedding near the ocean, but this is not a casual beach wedding so come dressed in Semi-Formal Attire. Men: Suit and Tie Preferred; Dress Pants and Dress Shirt Women: Cocktail Dresses

Will there be children at the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be having children at our wedding and ask that you leave them at home or procure a babysitter at your hotel. If you are from out of town and need help securing babysitting services so you can attend the wedding, please contact us in advance so we can make accommodations to hire a babysitter.

Is there free parking?

Answer

The parking lot is city owned and requires paid parking until 10pm before it becomes free. We are happy to cover this charge for you and procured parking passes. Our parking attendant, Jenna, will be at the parking pass dispenser close to the front of the venue with a pass for your car. Retrieve the parking pass from her and place it on the dash of your car.

Do you have a hotel block? Where do you recommend we stay?

Answer

There is a block of rooms available at the Casablanca Inn. If you choose to stay at this hotel, you must reserve your room prior to a month before the wedding or the rooms will become up for grabs to the public. This hotel is a 2 minute drive from the venue or a 6 minute walk. Please see the travel tab on this website to get more details regarding hotel accommodations.

Question

Will the ceremony/ reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are located at the same location. The ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn. The reception will also be outside on an open patio on the upstairs of the venue. The facility does have an indoor area that you will have access to the entire reception where our bar will be located. Bathrooms are also located inside on both levels.

Accessiblity for Wheelchairs?

Answer

There is handicap parking directly in front of the venue with a ramp for wheelchair access. The ceremony is on grass so be aware of that. Although most guests will be taking the stairs to the reception, there is an elevator through the bottom floor's main door for those unable to take the stairs. Bathrooms are located on both the bottom and upper floor of the building for easy access.

Is this an "unplugged" wedding?

Answer

Yes, it is! We ask that you be present for our wedding ceremony by please keeping your phones off and away. Our photographer will take all of the photos and we promise to share them with you. However, at the reception, take as many pictures as you like. In fact, we ask that whatever fun photos you take at the reception, you share them with us on our Google Photos so we can see them too!
