Megan and Brian met in 2011 on a video production shoot for their academy class in high school. On this job, Brian was training Megan how to run the video switcher and Megan just remembers thinking, "Wow, this guy really knows his stuff." When she went home that night, she told her sister, Monica, about Brian. Her response? "The guy with the red hair? Yeah, you should date him!" Although they did not talk much in the beginning, Brian would like to point out that he was the one who sent the friend request on Facebook, however Megan was the first to send a message. Four months later on a school field trip in New York, Megan wanted to talk with Brian. She sneakily got his number from the student roster and texted him. The two texted all day while they roamed around different parts of the city. When it was time for the bus ride home, Megan asked Brian to sit next to her. They watched one of Megan's favorite movies, The Breakfast Club, on the way back. This was also the first time anybody had ever told Brian that he looked like a certain British singer with red hair (yes, Megan was the very first to point out the resemblance!) She played him "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheeran and proceeded to pretend to fall asleep just so she could lay her head on his shoulder. Three months later, Brian asked Megan to be his girlfriend and three weeks after they said "I love you". Nearly seven years and lots of espresso later on April 27th, 2019, Brian asked Megan to (officially) spend the rest of their lives together. Their story continues on March 28th, 2020 when they finally say "I do". They are excited for all of their family and friends to celebrate their love together.
