Vermont is known for its breweries, and this is one of our favorites! Right in the heart of Brattleboro this is a great place to try some sour beers. Similar to breweries disc golf is huge in Vermont! If you have never played you have to while you are here! There are lots of courses around, but this is a particularly good one. It is a free 18 hole course that takes you through the woods, so bring some bug spray. If you need a disc they have rentals at the park (bring cash) or you can buy one at Dick's Sporting Goods in Rutland. You can't bring alcohol into the park, but once you are in the woods no one can really see you so... (Pro tip: Try not to throw your disk too high on the last hole it can be easy to lose your disc in the bushes as Brian knows)
For a closer disc golf course, hunter park is a great option! It is an 18 hole course with some wooded parts so once again bring bug spray.
