We recommend a 4-5 night stay to have time to enjoy the islands. We would suggest arriving to Maui by midday on Wednesday, July 29 or Thursday, July 30. For departures, we suggest leaving either the evening of Sunday, August 2 or Monday, August 3. There are daily nonstop flights between the West Coast and Maui (OGG) Airport.
We recommend staying in the Wailea or Kihei area, where you’ll find a wide range of resorts and vacation rentals just minutes from the ceremony venue. Alternatively, the Kāʻanapali resort area near Lahaina, about a 45-minute scenic drive up the coast, offers beautiful beachfront resorts, dining, and activities for those who’d like to explore a different part of the island before or after the celebration.
Oh, please! Warm, sunny, and beautiful. Expect Summer daytime highs in the high-80s, cooler evenings, and occasional island breezes and showers. Don't forget to pack the hats, reef-safe (mineral-based) sunscreen, and shades!
While cards of well wishes are welcome, in lieu of gifts please consider a donation to Brian's brother Danny and his children after their recent loss of their loving wife and mother, Derra, or Lahaina Land Trust, working to help rebuild the community in Maui after the fires. https://gofund.me/20f2a17a5 https://lahainacommunitylandtrust.org/donate
We recommend having a rental car available within your group. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Wedding Ceremony & Dinner from the Mulligans Parking Lot. Additional details will be shared closer to the weekend. Pro Tip: For those with a Costco membership, check their website for best rates on rental cars.
Yes, rideshare services are available, however they can be limited outside of popular areas and peak times so plan accordingly! We recommend renting a car for the easiest way to explore the island and get around on your schedule.
Yes, the ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn with the reception indoors. We recommend light layers, hats or sunglasses and comfortable footwear.
