How are you handling COVID-19 restrictions?

Answer

Great question . . . It's been a long year and a half. We are so excited that we will be able to celebrate our marriage with you all! Our venue and wedding planner will be helping us ensure that we are in alignment with all state and local guidelines. To keep everyone safe and to protect our guests who are immuno-compromised, we ask those guests who have chosen not to get a vaccine to please wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. We will be providing masks and hand sanitizer for everyone's use. Thank you for helping us make sure that safety is our number one priority!

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is somewhat limited at the farm, so we encourage you to carpool if you can to avoid congestion. The Fairfield Inn is also providing a free shuttle to and from the venue (more details on the Lodging page), so please take advantage of this if you are staying at the hotel.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be at 3:30 pm, so please plan to arrive by 3:15 pm so you have time to walk the (short) distance to the ceremony site. The reception will be on-site following the ceremony, with guest departure by 10:30 pm.

What if it rains?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and dinner will be served in the barn. In the case of inclement weather, we can use the barn for the ceremony as necessary. We're hoping for sunshine and warm weather, but please dress appropriately for fall in Maine!

What should I wear?

We're a pretty laid back couple and we want our guests to be comfortable, so use your best judgment. Wear your dancing shoes for after dinner!

How (and when) do I RSVP?

Please visit the RSVP page on this website, and let us know if you're able to attend by August 14, 2021.

Can I bring my child(ren) or a plus one?

Answer

We have limited space, so as much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, we had to make some tough decisions. Your invitation and online RSVP will inform you which guests are invited in your party. Thank you for your understanding!

What type of food will be served? What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Blaze Bangor will be serving a variety of appetizers, salads, and personal pizzas. We have tried our best to ensure that there are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, but if you have a specific restriction or need to know more, please use our RSVP question box to reach out.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Good news! We have hired a professional photographer to take pictures during the ceremony, so we ask you to please remain fully present with us during this important moment in our lives. At the reception, however . . . go for it! We have a hashtag for a reason!

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Answer

There will be a clearly marked and designated smoking area outside. No smoking will be allowed within any of the buildings per the request of the owners. Please help us abide by their request!

Will there be restrooms available?

Answer

Meadow Ridge Farm has fully functioning bathrooms available for guests located adjacent to the barn/reception space. Please be advised that the farmhouse and cabin located on the property are not for guest use.
