Maid of Honor
I met Bria in college. She came in a class behind me. I remember seeing her and thinking that she is such a ray of sunshine and a free spirit – THAT SHE IS. She is the perfect balance of work hard/play hard. Being her line sister and also having worked with her in leadership roles in service to our sorority has allowed me to see the best of her in both works (pleasure and professional). She is extremely brilliant, resourceful, and driven- I am proud and honored to stand beside her on her beautiful day!
Best Man
Cam and I go back all the way to middle school, where it all started from a conversation about Halo 3. Whether it was late nights on the game or late nights at the bar, Cam has been a lifelong friend for going on 13 years. From Swan Lake to Starkville, even to the Bahamas, the list of inside jokes and stories grows more and more every year. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without Cam around, so getting to be one of his groomsmen is an honor.

Bria and I formed a lifelong friendship throughout our time in pharmacy school! She invited me to study with her one day after class during our first year of pharmacy school and that study session spiraled into lunch and shopping, of course. We have been bonded ever since! Whether it’s traveling together, spending time with each other’s families, or getting to know our significant others (Cam, I love you too bro), we always have a great time! Bria is one of my dearest friends/sisters, and I am thrilled to be a part of her and Cam’s big day.
Groomsman
As young black engineering students, you know the other black engineering students; especially the ones within your respective discipline. So when I kept hearing people mention two black guys named Cam and Charles, I was confused. How had I never met these two guys? Months later we were finally on campus (not away on co-op) at the same time and I met Cam. I instantly had a vibe with him. Then I met Charles, and a true friendship was born. For full details of this story see me at the reception.

She’s my pharmasista! Early august 2016, we figured out we were moving into the same apartment complex on our class facebook page & got two other pharmacy school girls to meet up at Cheesecake Factory before orientation! We’ve been tight ever since!
Groomsman
We met as young electrical engineering majors at Mississippi State University. Out of the common struggle of navigating the ECE department, a great friendship was born. Many nights we stayed in Simrall until the sun rose, but we all made it. Now we are blessed to be coworkers at Raytheon.

Bria and I met in our Freshman year of college in the University Seminar course. We went to lunch that afternoon and the rest was history. We eventually became sorority sisters, roommates, and are now both pharmacists. I’m so excited to be a part of Bria and Cam’s big day.
Groomsman
As the brother of the bride, I’ve seen my sister go through many stages of life. These past years being ones shared with my soon to be brother-in-law. When I was introduced to Cam it was clear as to why this was someone she felt a connection with. Over the course of their journey, we had great adventures from celebrating my 21st in Starkville to the Cancun trip, and am looking forward to more times in the future.
Bridesmaid
Bria and I met over a decade ago in middle school. Over the years, we have laughed, cried, partied, and traveled together. Because I’ve known her so long, I know the kind of partner that would be perfect for her. I knew Cam was the one for her before I ever met him. It was the way she lit up whenever we talked about him. When I finally met Cam, I knew their love was undeniably true!
Groomsman
I’ve known Bria since middle school and ended up in a close friend group throughout high school. Fast forward college, Bria lets the old high school friend group, whom all mostly attend MSU, know that she is coming to town to visit. She brings her tall, dark, and handsome “friend”. I soon found out that I knew the guy through a mutual friend, fellow groomsman, Justin Jackson. I knew him as the man of many names, Charles, Cam, Chuck. We ended up hanging out more as a result of Bria’s entry into Cam’s life. It soon after became apparent that Cam was Brian and Brennan’s long-lost triplet as they had identical senses of humor and outlooks on the world. We’ve been pals ever since.

Bria and I met at a class picnic our first year of pharmacy school. She was easily the most friendly stranger I had ever met. As time progressed, Bria would become one of my closest friends. We studied together, hung out outside the classroom, and talked on the phone all the time! I’m pretty sure I spent more time at her apartment than I did at my own house. Bria became more of a sister, and as she and Cam’s relationship blossomed, he too became a brother. It has truly been a pleasure watching these two find a life partner in one another.
Groomsman
Bria and I go way way back. That’s family! Cam, on the other hand, is like my long lost triplet. We met not too long ago as two of the handful of token black dudes in the same friend group at State. I had heard of the other token black guy, but had never actually met him.. When I finally met Cam, all of the times that’d I’d heard, “you gotta meet my boy Cam,” had finally made sense. It was like we had known each other for years! And to find out that he was dating my homie, Bria? I thought to myself, “it’s official—this man is a part of the fam.” And now he’s marrying into the family and I couldn’t be happier for my gal pal and my long lost triplet. Here’s to many future family get-togethers and reunions with the crew and to happily ever afters! Love y’all!
