Our worlds changed on April 14th, 2025 in Portland, Oregon. We had already connected, talked, laughed and knew something was so joyfully alive between us before that date. We had no way to prepare for our meeting in Portland. After we parted, we unknowingly shared the same thought "That was way too good to be true". True it was. Through the next few months we let the flame burn while separated by many miles and opposite schedules. Not one day went by without excitement and apprehension for a reunion. Once we were permanently reunited in the beautiful PNW, our love and appreciation for each other grew exponentially. Our commitment to each other came naturally, and the work to understand where we wanted that in our lives was a consistent topic that we visited regularly. Always wanting each other to grow and develop in careers, family, and life. Then came a conclusion (but we consider the beginning).. our lives could no longer be developed and nurtured detached from each other. The rest of the world had color and thrill only if we were in it together. After conversations with family and deeply reflected in prayer, we knew what the next step was for our lives. That step brought you here. Thank you for showing up to celebrate us. Thank you for being apart of our village that loves and supports us. We are so excited to celebrate with you our most important decision yet.. choosing each other.
