It all started when Briana walked passed Parker at a country bar in Lake Havasu. As Briana was walking in, her friend kept tapping her asking if she knew those people pointing at us when we walked in. Briana looked around and didn’t see anyone familiar. A little while later after Briana found her seat at the bar, a boy with the brightest neon green tank top, blue jeans, and cowboy boots came walking toward Briana. Briana’s friend nudged her and said, “that’s the one that was pointing.” Briana thought, “oh brother, what does this wanna-be-cowboy want?” The boy introduced himself and politely asked Briana to two-step with him. Without hesitation, Briana quickly shut him down. The boy then walked away and Briana and her friend ordered a drink. About 20 minutes later, the boy came up to Briana again and asked for a dance, again Briana turned him down. This time, the boy asked if he could buy Briana another drink. Briana finally caved and allowed the boy to buy a drink. After a couple drinks and some peer pressure from her friends, Briana agreed to dance with the boy. Later that night, Briana and Parker had run into each other again while Briana was waiting for an Über home. Parker told her his friends had left him and Briana asked if he would like to share an Über. Once in the Über, Parker told Briana,” “take me somewhere I’ve never been before so we can talk. Briana told the driver to take them to the fishing docks on the island. After talking for a few hours at a picnic table they took a stroll on the docks and Parker asked Briana for one more dance. Briana told him it was hard to dance with no music, so Parker asked her, “ if you could give tonight one song what would it be?” Fishing in the dark by Nitty Gritty was the first thing that came to Briana’s mind. Ever since that night Parker and Briana have been inseparable.
