After coming back from a week-long vacation in the Dominican Republic, I had my senior pictures scheduled; just a normal day, or so I thought. When I got to the studio, I met the sales girl, and we instantly connected. There was something easy and familiar about talking to her, like we had known each other much longer than just a few minutes. After my appointment, I called the studio a few times trying to reach her, but somehow, she was never available. So, I did what anyone would do; I sent her a DM on Instagram. And that’s where it all started. One message turned into a conversation, a conversation turned into a date, and before we knew it, the rest was history.

Andy definitely threw me off of the scent with what I thought was just a string of fun date nights. For three days straight we went on cute dates and I didn't suspect a thing. The first day started with a drive down to Knaus Berry Farm, followed by an afternoon picking Sunflowers and enjoying the setting sun. The next evening, he took me line dancing followed by Taco Bell, my favorite guilty pleasure. But it was the third day that felt like a dream. We spent the day enjoying the serene beauty of Patch of Heaven Sanctuary in Homestead, a hidden gem of peace and tranquility. After a peaceful walk through the sanctuary, Andy led me to a grand fountain in the center of the gardens. He asked me to take a photo of it for old times' sake, but when I turned around, he was down on one knee. There in the quiet of the moment Andy was holding the world’s most precious ring and asking me to spend forever with him. I was overwhelmed with joy, surprise, and love. Without a moment's hesitation I said yes, knowing that this was the start of our own happily ever after.
