Please bring REAL ID compliant driver's license or valid passport to the airport if flying!

Answer

Starting May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights. If your driver’s license is REAL ID compliant, it should have a logo with a star on it in the upper right-hand corner. If you are flying on a domestic flight and do not have a REAL ID compliant drivers license, please make sure that you bring your valid passport to the airport to be able to board your flight to our wedding! Are kids welcome?

While we love and adore each and every one of our guests' children, we are looking forward to an adults only evening (and we hope you are too!) Immediate nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Bride & Groom will be attending.

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

Boston Logan International Airport. It is a 35 mile drive to the venue in Gloucester, MA, up to 1:15 hours with traffic (there will be beach traffic on the weekend)

Is there public transportation from the airport to Gloucester, MA?

Answer

Yes, but it can take 2 hours. From Boston Logan Airport, you can take the SL3 bus to the Chelsea Commuter Rail Station, and the Commuter Line from Chelsea to Gloucester. The venue is about one mile from the Gloucester Commuter Rail Station. Use Google Maps for the most real-time directions!

Is there parking for the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a huge parking lot on site. It is free valet parking at the venue (and you can leave your cars overnight & pick up in the morning!)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Brian and Amy will be staying at the Beauport Hotel. There will be a shuttle only from this hotel to and from the venue. This shuttle is the hotel shuttle so you will have to let the front desk know ahead of time (please request 30-45 minutes prior)

When should I book hotels/AirBNBs by?

Answer

Summers in New England are the best! This does make Gloucester, an old fishing village on the water, very popular in the summer months. The surrounding towns, Rockport and Salem, are popular as well. We recommend making accommodations quickly, especially on AirBNB!

Are there any events the night before or the morning after?

Answer

No hosted events! Will find a place/bar we can all meet at on Saturday night if folks are in town! Please stay tuned!

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be inside (with A/C!) Cocktail hour, following the ceremony, will be on a boat (weather permitting). There is a roof deck on the top of the boat that's open air so be ready for that breeze with your hair! There is also an outdoor balcony at the venue.

What if I don't like boats?

Answer

We understand! There will be a 1 hour cocktail cruise after the ceremony. Guests who choose to not board the boat can stay back at the venue, and we will see you at dinner!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors open at 4:00 PM for our guests to arrive and get seated. Wedding ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 PM. Please account for potential beach traffic!
