Question

Do I need a passport? Vaccines? Visa?

Answer

Yes, you will need a passport. If you are planning on attending the wedding we recommend you apply for your passport as soon as possible as it can take up to a few months. If you are in a crunch you can get your passport expedited for an additional fee. If you are in San Diego County we recommend going to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors office (1600 Pacific Highway, Fourth Floor, Room 402 San Diego, CA 92101 ) as you don't need an appointment. Be sure to bring all necessary paperwork needed for your passport to be processed. There are no vaccines nor visas needed for you to travel to Paris on a passport from the USA. Once you have your passport you are good to go. If you have a passport from a different country then there might you might need a visa or additional requirements.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

The wedding will be taking place near the Eiffel Tower, The neighborhood or area is called the 2nd arrondissement. Other nearby arrondissements are 7th, 8th, 15th and 16th. We have two hotels in the area for you to choose from, but also feel free to book your own hotel, air b&b, or other arrangement that is a better fit for your budget and travel style. Hotels in the area: 1. Hotel Eiffel Segur (https://paris-hotel-eiffel-segur.com). Use the website to book, and code "WBACK" for a discount. 2. Best Western Au Trocadero: https://www.hotelautrocadero.com 3. Hotel West End: https://www.hotel-west-end-paris.fr

Question

What about Flights?

Answer

Flying out of a larger airport will save you money! For those in the SD area we recommend flying out of LAX or even Orange County to save hundreds of dollars on roundtrip flights. You can rent a car one way so that you don't have to waste money leaving your car in the parking lot. You can also use the sky scanner app to help you find a great deal, but keep in mind the prices might reflect the lowest-level economy ticket meaning there will be extra fees added for you to bring bags, pick seats, food, etc. In terms of airlines there are a lot, we recommend British Airways or AirFrance. We will be flying through British Airways. KLM and Norweigian are cheaper companies. In terms of non-stop or direct flights, its completely up to you and your travel style. Some people prefer getting there right away while others need a little break so they don't go stir crazy on a long flight. Breyanna and Noah will be leaving on Sunday, June 15th and arriving in Paris Monday, June 16th around 9:00pm.
