Flight
We recommend flying into MSY airport and taking one of the plentiful taxi/Uber/Lyfts from the airport from the suburbs to your hotel in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans.

Only 3 blocks away from the venue, this grand St. Charles mansion was renovated into a hip boutique hotel. It has a beautiful bar, pool, and Brooke's favorite desert in town: the peanut butter cookie ice cream sandwich.
Travel Note
Our venue and most of our restaurant recommendations have on-street parking only. Most of us locals don't have driveways or parking lots and only ever park on the street, leaving our cars there for days or weeks. Don't leave valuables and back packs in your car, especially not visible. Park in the direction of the flow of traffic. Some blocks of Magazine or St. Charles have meters: rates are usually about $3/hr or a $30 ticket if a meter maid catches that you didn't pay the meter. Neighborhood streets off of St. Charles and Magazine are usually free with more free curb space. You may notice red font "No parking 2 hrs before or after parades" on St. Charles and parts of Magazine. Have no fear - there are no parades in our neighborhood this weekend, you've just secured a great spot!
