FAQs

Question

What is the welcome party dress code?

Answer

The welcome party dress code is cocktail. For women, we suggest dresses, jumpsuits, or slacks. For men, a blazer with dress pants or chinos and a button-down shirt is perfect.

Question

Will there be food and drinks at the welcome party?

Answer

Yes, there will be cocktails, beer, and wine available as well as light Italian bites (e.g., pizza, passed hors d'oeuvres).

Question

How far are the hotels from the welcome party (Restaurant No. 246)?

Answer

Travel time from The Whitley and InterContinental hotels is typically 20 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Please plan accordingly.

Question

Will there be transportation to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

While there will not be organized transportation to the ceremony and reception, the hotel blocks are a short 10 minute uber / lyft ride away.

Question

Can I drive my car to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. If you have a car you may park in Capital City Club's lot. If you plan to enjoy wine and cocktails (and we hope you do) you're welcome to leave your car overnight.

Question

What is the ceremony and reception dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. While traditional black tie attire is welcomed, it is not necessary. Men can wear tuxes or dark suits and women can wear ankle length or long dresses, dress slacks, or dressy jumpsuits. We want everyone to be comfortable and ready to dance!

Question

Can I bring my animals?

Answer

It is not possible to bring animals of any kind or size to wedding events.
