Great coffee, tea, and baked goods. Amazing courtyard with views of the surrounding mountains if you go through to the back. Our faves: iced coffee, cappucino, muffins
Breakfast/Brunch: Cheeky's
Great brunch and vibe – just expect to grab a cocktail at their chic bar next door while you wait for your table. Our faves: breakfast quesadilla, bacon flight
Lunch: Lulu California Bistro
For a classic Mid Century Palm Springs vibe. Our faves: steak salad, kobe beef burger
Drinks: Bootlegger Tiki
Fun tiki bar right in Palm Springs. Mainly booths of 4-6 with a bartop inside and a patio. Our faves: 62 moons, tiny dancer
Dinner: King's Highway
We didn't only pic this venue for the location. The Ace's onsite chefs and bartenders are wonderful – plus it's a great vibe inside and out. Our faves: twin palms burger (with bacon), classic caesar
Live Bands: Pappy & Harriet's
If you don't mind making the drive and are looking for a desert vibe, this is a great place to spend an evening. Great bands – we even came here the night we got engaged. And they have wonderful food, too (make a reservation).
Shopping: Cabazon Outlets
Stop on your way out for some shopping – only 30 minutes from Palm Springs. This outlet mall is known internationally for being one of the best. Based on the case study we've been conducting for the last several years, they're right. Our faves: Lululemon, AllSaints
Hike: Tahquitz Canyon
Fairly flat 2 mile (roundtrip) hike through stunning scenery ending in a gorgeous 60-foot waterfall. Three minutes from the Ace Hotel.
