are you ready for it?

Christina and Jack met at the infamous Barrington Brewfest in the summer of 2014. It must have been fate for this Iowa boy and Chicago 'burbs native to bump into each other and hit it off! Christina was charmed by Jack's striking baby blues, sense of humor, and dart throwing skills. Jack was captivated by Christina's beautiful smile, quick wit, and playful demeanor. The two met up for breakfast at iconic Egg Harbor the next morning and the rest is history! Jack and Christina drove back and forth between Barrington and the Quad Cities for about a year (according to Jack this is a 2 hour drive....lies ) Jack was looking to switch up his career and was intrigued with the idea of consulting after listening to Christina's glamorous stories of the travel life. Jack got a great offer from PwC and the two have been enjoying life in the Windy City ever since! 4/27/2018 Jack surprised Christina with a trip to London for Christmas! They were itching to go back after a quick taste of visiting the city for Christina's birthday in 2016. They spent the months leading up to the trip planning each day and every activity in order to maximize their time. Fast forward to the trip and queue typical London weather in spring - rain, rain and more rain. Jack was adamant to sticking to "The Itinerary" which included walking around the parks before a dinner in Notting Hill. The stars were aligned as the two stepped out of the taxi and walked through the Italian Water Gardens as the sun peaked through the clouds and stopped raining! Bless. UP. Jack pulled off the dreamiest proposal and dropped to a knee with the beautiful royal parks as a backdrop and Christina quickly said YES. Jack pulled one more trick out and had a photographer hiding ready to take the two on a photo shoot throughout Kensington Gardens (Hi Harry and Megan!)
