In 2015, Bryce was a super senior at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point (UWSP) who spent the majority of his time either making breakfast bowls and sandwiches at the college's dining center or grabbing a beer (or two...) at the local college bars. Sydney was a sophomore who frequently visited the dining center to grab food with her friends or as Bryce would put "to stare at the cute guy making sandwiches." Sydney's friends often referred to this man as "Breakfast Bowl Guy," "Brewer Hat," or "Packers Hat" as these were the only two hats he apparently owned... One of the first nights back after winter break in January of 2015, Sydney and her friends headed to a very prestigious, high-class bar formerly known as "Bruisers" with their fake IDs in tow. They headed to the downstairs portion of the bar where Sydney proceeded to beg the DJ to play a song, which subsequently cleared the entire dance floor. Shortly after, Bryce approached me and recited the bagel order that I would order each day. From there, I was swooning. We kept in touch here and there for the remainder of the year. In May of 2015, Bryce graduated from UWSP with a double major in Fisheries and Water Resources. He moved to Brainerd, MN for 9-months while I continued with my degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Bryce moved back to the Oshkosh area in November of 2015 and reached back out to me. We continued to talk and FINALLY made things official in June of 2016. A lot has changed over the past 7 years, including: Bryce moving 4 separate times to work in 3 different jobs Sydney graduating from both her Bachelor's and Master's degree programs + landing a real job Living together in a bug + crime infested apartment Buying a house, a dog, AND planning a wedding all within the same year It's been an exciting 7 years and we can't wait to celebrate our big day with our closest friends and family on June 3rd, 2023!
