Yes! Everything will be in the same location on the evening of the wedding. Our venue is The Barn at the Ackerhurst Dairy Farm. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and then the cocktail hour and reception will be inside the barn. If it rains, the ceremony will also be inside the barn. No worries, the barn has air conditioning and really nice bathrooms:) The barn is also very accessible, as it has an elevator in addition to the stairs.
There is a large parking area at the venue. Cars can be left overnight if needed. Uber and Lyft drivers are familiar with the venue. Please do not drink and drive!
Heck yes! Open bar will be provided by the bride and groom for both the cocktail hour and reception. Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive!
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. *We ask that you please be understanding, as there will be a few exceptions to this rule (i.e. children involved in the ceremony)
Cocktail attire
Please RSVP by May 15th. RSVP by mail using the response card and pre-postage envelope enclosed in the formal invite.
We will have light snacks available at the cocktail hour and a full sit down dinner at the reception, followed by dessert.
We are only able to provide transportation for the wedding party and a few close family members. Please make transportation arrangements ahead of time unless you are told otherwise by the bride or groom.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding events are strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
There will be a few additional private events (i.e. rehearsal dinner, morning after brunch, etc). Invitations to follow.
