The dress code is anywhere from formal/black-tie optional to cocktail! Bear in mind it is an October wedding in Virginia, so it may be cold. In general, men should be in suits and women in knee length to floor length dresses or pantsuits. The wedding party will be in mulberry so please avoid that color. Yes, there is parking at the venue. The typical dining area is open to all patrons while the wedding is occurring so it is not purely guest parking. Regardless, there should be ample space.
The venue is in Harrisonburg, VA. The closest larger hub airports are Dulles (IAD) and Ronald Reagan (DCA) which are roughly a 2.5 hour drive from the venue. A rental car would be necessary from these airports.
Our venue holds a max of 60 so no plus ones are allowed. Only those named on invitations are invited.
We are not doing hotel blocks but advise to book your stay early! The same weekend as the wedding, the local college is having a rivalry game and could book up. Airbnb and Vrbo may have some cheaper options.
Due to Virginia liquor laws, you absolutely CANNOT bring outside alcohol into the venue. Doing so would get the venue in legal trouble, cause our security deposit to be forfeited, and lead to the offender being asked to leave the venue.
