FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2026!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We ask our guests to dress in Formal or Black-Tie Optional attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or suit and tie. Please no khakis or jeans. Ladies can opt for an evening gown or floor-length cocktail dress. The ceremony space is grassed so keep that in mind when choosing your heels! Guests are welcome to wear any color you are comfortable in other than white.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at a few stores, but all gifts can be accessed through our zola wedding website under the "Registry" tab. If you have any questions or have difficulty marking a gift as "purchased" after purchasing, please text Summer at (269) 275-3473.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive to the ceremony between 4:30 and 4:50pm. The ceremony space is located in the "Knight's Courtyard". If you arrive later than 4:50pm, venue staff will kindly ask you to wait outside of the ceremony space until after the ceremony is complete.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We've worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your invitation are invited. If your invitation says "and guest" or includes a guest's name, then yes- we'd love for them to join!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please inform the bride and groom of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking at the ceremony and reception site. You are able to park overnight as long as you pick up your car by 10 am the next day.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in the Knight's Courtyard. The cocktail party will be held in the same space as the ceremony. At 6:30pm, the doors to the Knight's Castle indoor reception space will open. No need to travel to a new location between the ceremony and reception!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be put away and silenced. Our wonderful photographers will be taking plenty of beautiful photographs!

Question

What if I have last minute questions? Who do I contact?

Answer

Please direct any questions to the mother of the bride, Lauri Maurer, at (269) 217-2031.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY.
