We're getting married!

The journey here didn’t come without valleys, twists, turns, highs and lows. Courtney and I have a similar story. One of a person who struggled to find that someone who felt the same about the world as they did. Single dog parents moving through life just trying to figure it out. Sometimes - you need to work on yourself before you can give your all to someone else. We both bought our own houses after college and navigated into successful situations all on our own. I couldn’t be more proud and impressed by her story and the trials & tribulations she endured. From the moment I met Courtney on our first date my life has improved. I have become a better man, my faith & relationship with God has been infinitely strengthened and she has shown me first-hand what a caring woman can do to your quality of life. Even both her and I’s physical health has flourished. She sold her house and moved in with me in an ultimate move of trust and love by both of us. Court, when I look into your eyes I get lost in paradise. God sent me a gift. You and I are an unstoppable force stronger than any diamond, even the big ass one on your finger. I pray every man can find their Courtney.

When I met Cory it was the classic tale of I wanted to give up on dating but something made me decide to give him a chance. Little did I know that would be my last first-date ever and that man would one day become my husband. Our love took root quickly, growing stronger with every shared laugh, every story about our dogs, and every dream we realized we both held. We both had our own plans for the future, and while they were surprisingly similar, we each made thoughtful and intentional adjustments so that our paths could not only come together, but grow together. From early on, we chose each other, wholly and as a team. Cory has truly made me a better person and helps the best version of myself shine, every day. He has shown me what it means to be loved. He motivates me to make healthy decisions, encourages me to be my authentic/goofy self and reminds me to lean on my faith when I need it. I could not have asked for a better partner and God has blessed me beyond measure. Cory, I cannot wait to become your wife. To continue building our future together, to raise a family together, to keep sharing the love of God together.
