Blake and Meredith met at a mutual friend's apartment while attending Eastern Washington University. Meredith let the mutual friend know they thought Blake had pretty eyes. The mutual friend let Blake know this. They went on their first date, and what happened next is a tale that's often told! Four years later, Blake popped the question on August 3, 2024, at a secluded area on the coastline just north of Manzanita Beach, Oregon. Meredith and her family spent many years enjoying Priest Lake, Idaho.
