We’re Getting Married!!

We met on my first trip up to The Silver Lake Dunes when a friend of mine invited me up to celebrate us graduating college. We all met up at Tara’s brother's house and I was just along for the ride not knowing anyone besides Tara. We all drove up to the dunes and that’s when it all started LOL. Nick tried to “show off” by seeing if he could make it up test hill but let’s just say it didn’t go quite how he planned it to!! For those of you who know anything about Test Hill at the dunes, they aren’t made to be easy to get up or the safest in this instances. Nick ended up hitting a big dip in the sand which caused him to hurt his back and bail out of his Jeep into the sand on a hot summer day. By the time we made it up to him to check how he was doing, he was covered in sand and explained that he was done driving for the day. Tara told him he could come ride in her Jeep with us for the day and we could park his Jeep. During all of this I’m in the back seat taking in this whole experience since this was my first time ever up there and the whole time thinking these guys are crazy!!! Nick came piling in the back seat with me and next thing I know his head was in my lap as he was laying down trying to get comfortable and breathe with the amount of pain his back was in. I instantly said out loud “Well I guess you can lay there” and Nick looked up at me with the look in his eyes like he just ruined this entire day. Well after several hours of driving around with him making himself comfy, he took it pretty well with all of us picking on him all night from what happened and how he couldn't even buy me dinner first before trying to make a move lol. Turns out the day wasn’t a complete bust after all! Fast forward to three and a half years later, here we are still together and getting married. Long story short he literally just fell into my life (or others would say lap) and the rest is history!!
