Best way to get to St. Hugo’s Chapel by avoiding Woodward?

If you are traveling from the Royal Oak area: Take I-75 North and exit at Square Lake Road (Exit #75). Turn left at Opdyke Road and go South 0.7 mile to St. Hugo's Stone chapel, which will be on the right. If you are traveling from the Birmingham area, (east of Woodward Avenue), I would suggest Adams Road to Wattles, turn left on Wattles. Drive 0.89 miles and turn right on to Kensington Rd. In 1 mile turn left on to Long Lake. Then turn Right on Woodward. Then in 0.1 miles make a slight right on Opdyke. The chapel is about 0.5 miles on the left. If you are in Birmingham area (West of Woodward avenue/ Townsend Hotel) I would suggest Maple to Lahser Road. Turn right on Lahser to Hickory Grove. Turn right on Hickory Grove. Then turn right on Opdyke. The chapel will be on your right.

From the Church turn left on Opdyke Rd. -Left onto E. Hickory Grove Rd. -Left onto Lahser Rd. -Right onto Maple Rd. Oakland Hills will be on the left in 0.7 miles
