Some stories are written long before we even realize it. We unofficially met back in 2020, when Sam sent me a message on Facebook. We chatted for a bit, but life took us in different directions. Little did we know, fate wasn’t done with us yet. Fast forward to 2023—there she was again, appearing on my Facebook feed as if the universe had placed her there on purpose. The moment I saw her, something just clicked. I didn’t know much about her, but I knew I had to reach out. There was something about her smile, her energy—it drew me in completely. At first, I was definitely the one doing the chasing. I kept showing her that I was serious, trying to break through her walls. She didn’t let me in right away, but deep down, I knew she was worth the wait. So I stayed consistent, stayed genuine, and made sure she saw the real me. Little by little, she started to open up. Our conversations became longer, our laughter louder, and our connection deeper. We went from simple texts to hours on FaceTime, from goodnight messages to falling asleep on the phone together. It didn’t take long for us to realize—this was different. This was real. Our first date was at The Cheesecake Factory, one of my favorite spots. From the moment we sat down, everything just flowed—the conversation, the laughter, the comfort. It felt like we had known each other forever. By the end of the night, we shared our first kiss, and in that quiet, perfect moment, I knew… she wasn’t just someone I liked. She was the one. My person. From that day forward, our love has grown in ways we never could’ve imagined.
