FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 21st.

Question

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We encourage everyone to mail back their RSVP card, however if you are unable to, please reach out to us through text.

Question

How do I reach out to you?

Answer

Please text me @ (630) 987-9579 and/or Brett @ (228) 382-2400.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know by declining on the RSVP card so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 12 PM. Please arrive no later than 11:20 AM. We want everyone to get situated in their pews.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have chosen to take a Polish approach in terms of receiving gifts and therefore on par with Polish tradition, it is standard to give the couple an envelope with cash and some warm wishes at the beginning of the reception.. You might wonder.. How much is an appropriate amount? And to that we would say what you would normally spend on a wedding gift.. For guests who would like to give something but who aren’t able to make it to the wedding, we have an option here to contribute to our honeymoon which we will take in 2022 (we do plan on traveling internationally). Please note that you do not have to give anything, and your presence is a gift in itself. Thank you everyone! ❤️

Question

What is the parking like at the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

There is free parking at both locations.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Ladies should preferably wear a midi/cocktail dress or a dressy pantsuit while the gentlemen should preferably wear a dark suit with a dress shirt. No jeans please.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be held indoors.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! However, please refrain from taking pictures/videos during the ceremony (as per request of the photographer).

Question

I’m from out of state, what kind of weather should I be prepared for?

Answer

It’s June! Temperatures in Illinois tend to be mostly comfortable with warm afternoons around this time.. Expect mid-70’s.
