Question

Why Friday?!

Answer

The first question most people have asked when we tell them our wedding date is, "why did you choose a Friday!?" We know you have to take time off from your jobs to come share this day with us and for that we want to say a huge "thank you!" We've been to Thursday and Friday weddings and truly valued the opportunity to turn each of these events into a mini-vacation. We really hope that you'll take the time to enjoy our wedding, explore Denver, and use this as an excuse for a long weekend to meet new people and reconnect with those you love.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to Skylight at 5 pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking that our guests help us have a completely unplugged ceremony. We've hired a photographer and videographer to record the entire service for us. We ask that you keep your phones in your purses and pockets, be in the moment, and not block any of their work. If anyone desires photos or video from the day, we'll be more than happy to share.

Question

Can I take photos at the reception?

Answer

Please, please do! And please share them with us! We have Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Use of a nearby parking lot (990 Kalamath Street) is available from 5 PM to 7 AM. There are only 50 parking spots so plan accordingly. Vehicles can be parked overnight, but will be towed at the owner's expense if not removed from the lot by 7 AM the following morning. We suggest Uber/Lyft from the hotel to the venue!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. We want you to be comfortable!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

For the reception, we have tried to be conscientious in providing vegetarian and gluten-free options for our guests. If you have other concerns, feel free to reach out to the bride and groom and we'll see what we can do to accommodate.

Question

If I have any other questions, who should I ask?

Answer

If you have any questions before the wedding day, feel free to text Molly or Brett! On our wedding day, please do not text or call us or our families. We have a day of wedding planner, Taryn. Please call her day of if you need something at 970.260.3946. Thank you!
