Things To Do

Breakfast/Brunch

Savannah, GA 33480

The Collins Quarter — The Bull Street location has better food; the Forsyth spot has a beautiful view. Clary's Cafe — A classic Savannah institution. Double Wide — Eclectic, fun, and delicious. Goose Feathers Cafe — A great all-around breakfast option. Husk - oysters + brunch classics - the burger is incredible!

Dinner

Husk — Fresh, local oysters are the star. Tip: ask to sit upstairs in the bar room. (elevated) The Olde Pink House — A Savannah staple for elevated Southern comfort food (elevated) Wexford Irish Pub - huge menu and its ALL great (casual) Cotton and Rye - they'll tell you that the wings are award winning but the chicken thighs are the real star of the show (elevated) 45 Bistro - THE BEEF CARPACCIO For an after dinner treat, you must try Leopolds Icecream! *make sure you check out the Starland recommendations as wellI*

Night Life

Night Life

102 East Liberty, Savannah, GA 31401

Bar Julian — Perched atop the Thompson Savannah, it’s the tallest rooftop bar in the city—perfect for sunset views (and solid food). Also a good brunch stop. Starland District bars: Mood Rights (arguably the best burger in Savannah) and Lone Wolf Lounge. Downtown favorites: Peacock Lounge, Alley Cat Lounge, Municipal Grand, Untitled (they have asain cuisine and an incredible bar program, you will want to get the fries though), Wayward, Savoy Society, and Pinkie Masters. Savoy, Wayward, and Pinkie Masters are all steps from the Perry Lane Hotel.

Starland District

Starland District

2201 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31401

Starland is an up and coming district in Savannah. You will want to take a short Uber to get here but it's worth it - there is no shortage of great restaurants! Brochu's Family Tradition — The best fried chicken this side of the Mississippi. Lucia's Pasta Bar - pasta.... duh. Fishbar - all wood fired and charcoal grilled sea food - really great! I'd sit outside. , and Common Thread - fine(r) dining Two really great bars in Starland District are Moodrights (best burger in Savannah) and Lone Wolf Lounge. These two bars are definitely more for the eclectic crowd.... think a Pearcy type of crowd. Lastly theres a cool establishment here called Starland Yard which is made up of a stationary bar within all conex boxes and then a slurry of foodtrucks that change by the day.

Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park

Savannah, GA 31401

I recommend walking or ubering to Forsyth Park at some point. You have to see the iconic fountain and if you go Saturday morning you'll get to experience the Farmers Market! Theres a restaurant in the center of the park called Collins Quarter. Collins Quarter has a second location on Bull Street and I do prefer the food at this one!

Shopping In Savannah

Shopping In Savannah

Savannah, GA 31401

Check out this website for a great guide to some of the shops in Savannah and the different areas (Broughton Street, The Design District, and Liberty Street). You don't want to miss The Paris Market, E.Shaver Bookseller, One Fish Two Fish and NoFo.

Wellness

Wellness

If you're looking for some exercise outside of the hotel gym I recommend going for a stroll or run around Forsyth Park or booking a class at Otium Studio. If you're looking for a spa, Woodhouse Spa or Spa Bleu are the way to go. Mention that you're with the Motherwell party and you'll get a friends and families discount at Spa Bleu. I also highly recommend making the trip out to Wormsloe State Park for a gorgeous walk through a canopy of oak trees, over 7 miles of trails, and some history.

River Street

River Street

500 W River St, Savannah, GA 31401

From wherever you are downtown Savannah, walk north and you'll eventually run into River Street. This is a pretty touristy area but a must see! If you're lucky you'll get to see one (or a few) cargo ships. Savannah has the third largest and fastest growing port in the United States. I'd recommend making your way down to JW Marriott for some of the outdoor activities, restaurants and shops they have there. It's worth walking through the interior of the hotel as well - it's truly an exhibit!
