Our favorite breakfast/brunch spot in town. They also serve lunch and dinner.
Our favorite coffee shop located right in our neighborhood and next to Liberty Park if you want to take a stroll, check out the Aviary or play tennis at their indoor courts.
Another great coffee shop and closer to downtown on Capitol Hill.
If you're looking for a filling and upscale brunch experience the Laurel at the Grand America hotel is where you will find that.
One of our favorite more casual lunch or dinner spots. Modern Mediterranean and a variety of choices across the menu.
The BEST greek in town! Gyros and grab and go greek.
One of Salt Lake's favorite Italian restaurants.
For the foodie this place is a must! Locally sourced, American fare.
A very cozy dinner spot in the Avenues neighborhood. You will feel all of the charm here and their food is always comforting.
This is the place we went for dinner after we got engaged! Urban Hill is one of the very best restaurants in the city and a fabulous place for a celebratory meal.
Favorite Thai in town! Definitely a great take out option.
If you want to escape the city and have a meal in the mountains, this cabin style restaurant is one of our favorites and voted most romantic restaurant in Utah. Be sure to get there early to walk across the street and take in the waterfall and swans.
A newer favorite and fantastic spot for anyone with food allergies and sensitivities. This modern Mexican eatery uses only organic ingredients, is completely seed oil free and the entire menu is GF!
As their website states, Rouser is the culinary heart of Salt Lake City's revitalized historic train station, Rouser nods to the coal-powered locomotives that once rumbled on its tracks. This restaurant is located in the brand new Asher Adams, Autograph Collection hotel. There's also a speakeasy bar in the hotel that's great for a late night cap.
Hands down the best brewery in Salt Lake City. Their many awarded brews can speak to itself but their atmosphere also makes this place great. Brett and I had our first date here after a competitive game of mini golf! Brett also spent a few years living with the Templin family during his Junior Hockey years which wouldn't have been the same without them!
For Whiskey lovers this is a must! Please note there's the Distillery and then there's the Park City Saloon where you can do tastings and shop as well. The distillery has tours, lunch, a winter dinner series and gift shop. The Park City location has just as much character as the distillers but please remember it's peak ski season and is likely first come first serve.
A walkable neighborhood where you can shop, eat and drink! Very cute boutiques.
This outdoor/indoor shopping mall is in the center of downtown. If you forgot any clothes you can likely find them here(snow sport related clothes go to REI.) The mall itself is beautiful but you can likely find the same big box stores where you live.
You will find ice skating, local vendors and community events here(check their calendar!) It's a very family friendly spot and the views of the mountains are stunning.
Catch musicals and shows here!
See the symphony at the stunning Abravanel Hall.
Winter tubing in Park City.
This Main Street speaks for itself in terms of recommendations. A few of our favorite restaurants include Yuki Yama(sushi), Riverhorse(fine dining), No Name Saloon(famous PC bar), The Spur(live music) and Boneyard wine dive. Luna's Kitchen and Harvest are great healthy morning spots!
Winter bobsled, historic tours and the olympic museum.
Heber Valley is a swiss inspired, charming mountain town just outside Park City. Alpenglobe dining at Cafe Galleria, Midway Ice Skating Rink, Homestead Resort and Heber Valley Creamery are all great options if you find yourself in this area.
Whether you love Robert Redford and the history of film making, want to ski, treat yourself to the spa or just get a drink at the Owl Bar(one of the many dining options) Sundance is a special place.
