It was 2019 when Liz and Brett’s love story first began, just 2 single twenty-somethings who happened to swipe right on Bumble. After some cheeky back and forth banter, numbers were exchanged and a first date took place shortly after at Bretts home. After discovering a mutual love of food, drinks, and some cozy nights on the couch, it wasn’t long before Liz knew Brett was the one for her. After one year, and nine months of dating, Brett asked Liz to be his forever, and she didn’t hesitate to say “yes!!” . 2 years worth of memories, adding 2 furry pups to our family, and moving in together, we are excited to begin this new chapter of marriage in our lives! We are so excited to share this day with you, and look forward to dancing the night away with all of our favorite people.

It was the day before Christmas Eve, and we had weeks of fully-planned days ahead of us for the holidays. So naturally, Brett asked if we should have a date night before all of the crazy begins! Since we have so many date nights, Liz thought nothing of it! Liz showed up to Brett's house, and she walked in door, noticing nothing. Brett greeted Liz with a hug and a kiss, per their norm. At the corner of Liz's eye, she saw lights flickering. She looked over to the hallway, and saw candles lit up and down the hallway, with rose petals everywhere! Liz made a joke saying "Wow Brett, you went all out for date night!!", and Brett just laughed and said "yeah, you should see what I did in the bedroom!". Liz still not thinking much of it, because Brett, being the romantic that he is, has done something similar in the past. As Liz walked into the bedroom, the candles and rose petals continued and filled up the bedroom. There were candles lining the room, and rose petals on the floor and also on the bed, in a shape of a heart. But above the bed, there were balloon words on the wall, and it said "Will you marry me". Liz looked over to Brett, who was on one knee, with the ring in his hand. He asked Liz to marry him, and of course, she said yes!!!
