Question

What part of the wedding am I invited to?

Answer

We're hosting a small and intimate celebration with three parts. If you're invited to both the ceremony and dinner, your invitation will indicate a 3:30 arrival time. Should you be joining us for the evening dance, your invitation will specify a 7 PM arrival. Throughout the night, we'll have drinks and late-night snacks available for all our guests.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Will there be transportation/lodging?

Answer

Lodging: The recommended hotel is the AmeriVu Inn and Suites in Waconia. www.amerivuinn.com/waconia/. There are also Airbnbs in the vicinity. Please reserve lodging ASAP. Transportation: There is ample parking at the venue for those who will be providing their own transportation. Overnight parking is not allowed. We will be providing van transportation for our guests as an option. Vans will depart from Southview Elementary's parking lot in Waconia (225 W 4th St, Waconia, MN 55387) to our venue at 3:15 PM. (arrive at 2:45) Departure and return to Southview at 11 pm. Vans will drop off either at Southview Elementary. Lyft and Ubers are readily available from Waconia. You can leave your vehicle overnight at Southview Elementary. **Please note:** Van spots are limited and require advance reservation. When you RSVP, simply let us know which departure and return times you'd like to use, and we'll secure your spot. Please let us know ASAP if you decide not to take a van so we can plan accordingly.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is garden party formal. For women, this means a nice colorful dress, and for men, a jacket or tie are preferred.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony but you are welcome to take pictures throughout the reception. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
