here’s to forever

after matching on a lovely dating app called hinge, we were both cautiously optimistic. but between brett’s cute camping pictures and that irresistible tattoo selfie, lilly was already drawn in. after a few weeks of talking, we finally had our first date: paddleboarding. when lilly wasn’t afraid to jump in the water and get her hair wet, brett knew this was someone special. from that moment on, our lives began to intertwine. we immediately started going on adventures together, met each other’s families, and quickly discovered that being with each other felt like coming home. it didn’t take long to realize this was our forever. three years later while on a trip to washington with two of our best friends, brett asked lilly to marry him at the end of a beautiful hike just before it started to rain. surrounded by nature and everything we love, she said yes without hesitation. and now here we are about to become husband and wife. we both feel so incredibly lucky to have found each other, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us. we love you all so much <3
