My day 1. We met in 1st grade and just can't seem to get rid of each other so we stopped trying long ago. She has been a part of all the biggest events in my life - middle school talent shows, graduations, college senior day, and wine tasting. Kat has seen me at my best and my worst. She is someone I plan to know forever. Everyone needs a Kat in their life.

High school bestie turned international bestie. Michelle has joined me on countless adventures here and abroad and is game for anything, always ready with a plan. She can make literally anything fun, and will someday rule the world as the ultimate business person. On top of all of that she is smart, kind, funny, and compassionate. Michelle for president!

High school best friend and awkward food companion. We always seem to find ourselves in awkward situations and have laughed ourselves out of all of them. Amber is the friend who makes you feel like the funniest person in the room with her infectious laugh and smile. She is always there to pick you up when you're down and no matter what happens will go to bat for you.
Matthew Moffitt
Best Man
My older brother, and one of the people I've respected and admired most in my life. Matthew is defined by his creations. He's always thinking, building and doing. Anyone who has ever visited his off-grid homestead, met his family or seen one of the many houses, cabins or saunas he's built will know he takes pride in what he does, and he does it really well! I'm proud to have him standing next to me for this special day.
Luke Moffitt

Maybe the most well-rounded of the Moffitt sons, Luke has always passionately followed his pursuits. He showed dedication and drive from an early age, and went from being the scourge of the local muskrat population with his boyhood trapping, to running collegiate cross country, and later excelling in triathlons. He's since shifted his focus to Nursing, raising a family and helping his wife build their business. Still, if anyone's feeling like an impromptu 200 mile bike ride, Luke is your guy.
Ben Evans

I met Ben in 2017 when I did a stint with a BLM wildland fire hand crew. He was a solid squad leader on the crew, and has remained a solid friend since. Ben might be one of the smartest and overly-educated wildland firefighters out there, and I mean that in the best of ways! I look forward to many more years of being Ben's friend, even if I'm not his best friend (he gets the joke)!
Ian Schlake

Another BLM firefighter, Ian is Aravaipa OG! He was my Lead on Alpha squad, and I was always impressed by his leadership and calm demeanor. 2017 was a tough year, and Ian has seen me at my worst. Still, he was always there for me; letting me work through the rough patches. Ian has always been a source of good conversation, good books and steadfast friendship. I am honored to have him with me to help mark the beginning of another adventure.
Kevin Farrell

Big brother and life coach. We have been close since we were little and prefer to communicate in movie quotes or memes. Kevin has always walked to the beat of his own drum, paved his own path, and faced challenges head on. I have always looked up to him and his funky ways. He's a good sport!

This guy came into our lives 6 months into our relationship (smart move, Brett). He loves ball and the outdoors. He goes to work with Brett at the firehouse and keeps Kelly company when Brett goes on wildland assignments.
