Flight
Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is the main airport, right in the heart of the city. If you’re planning to rent a car, there’s a rental hub at the airport, but rideshare options like Uber, Lyft, and Waymo are easy to grab too. Pro tip: if you are going straight to your hotels downtown, local taxis are often the way to go—they offer a flat-rate transfer from the airport that usually beats rideshare prices and saves you some waiting. Another great option is the Light Rail—tickets are just $2, and trains run about every 15 minutes straight into downtown.
