FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

1224 Santa Barbara Street San Diego, CA 92107

Question

What is the day-of schedule?

Answer

Unless specified otherwise, please arrive at the venue at 330pm. Ceremony starts at 4pm. See tab "Schedule" for more info.

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Suit and tie optional.

Question

What kind of weather should we pack for?

Answer

While February in San Diego is warmer than other parts of the country (average temperature is in the 60s/70s), it does drop into the high 40s/low 50s especially at night. Think "New England Fall" - Be sure to pack accordingly!

Question

I have a food allergy/restriction. Will the caterer be able to accommodate me?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or restrictions, please be sure to let us know at least 2 weeks prior so we can coordinate with the caterer accordingly.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

In an effort to ensure all parents of young children can enjoy the night to the fullest with us, we will having an adults-only reception. If you will be travelling from out of town and need trusted babysitter recommendations, please reach out to us.

Question

Will you have a wedding gift registry?

Answer

We would prefer our guests don't bring gifts as we (and most of you!) will be 3000+ miles from home. We feel lucky enough that you're choosing to spend the day with us. If you would like to generously get us something, please contribute to our honeymoon/house renovation fund.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

A hotel or Airbnb in the Ocean Beach/Point Loma area would be the most convenient for proximity to the wedding venue. Please note that Ubers/Lyfts and taxis are fairly easy to come by in the greater San Diego area. If you need more specific suggestions, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

When should we plan to travel?

Answer

We are tentatively planning a casual welcome get-together for Thursday evening, and a farewell event on Saturday. If you have the flexibility, we recommend being in San Diego for Thursday afternoon, and to plan to stay until at least until Saturday afternoon. Of course, we absolutely understand if you are not able to and and will be just as honored if you can join for just the big day!

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

We will be collecting RSVPs through this website. If you are having trouble with the site, please feel free to reach out to Brett or Kaho directly.
