On this particular Sunday we went for a fall drive to Mirror Lake to try and get one final glimpse at the fall leaves before winter set in. As we do every year, we went for a walk around the lake with Brett leading the way, and while I didn't know it at the time, he was looking for the perfect spot. When he finally found it he told me he wanted to get a family picture, in the middle of which he got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. While the first thing that came out of my mouth may have been "what are you doing" my answer was yes, of course!
