I was lucky enough to meet Jon at U of C, shortly after he had moved to Calgary from England. We struck up a friendship based on our shared passion, or what Jaime refers to as an obsession, of basketball, football & all things sport. The best part about being Jon's friend is the fact he's a Carolina Panther fan, this means I will never have to worry about losing to Jon, & I will always maintain my bragging rights! When it came to picking my best man, I knew there was no else I could rely on or who could throw a party quite like Jon; make sure to prepare yourself for shenanigans!

I met Carmen in the summer of 2009, scooping ice cream at Amato Gelato and quickly discovered we had a lot more in common then a summer time job. We instantly bonded over what we consider to be our amazing sense of humour (others disagree), obsession with our pets, and of course our love of wine! Over the last 10 years our friendship has withstood distance, school, and everything else life can throw at us; yet we remain closer then ever. When it came to my maid of honour, I knew Carmen was the only option! Keep an eye out for her on the dance floor, her um, 'memorable' dance moves will make her the life of the party!

Other then my parents, I think its safe to say Ian has known me longer then almost anyone, after all, I have had to put up with him since he was born! Ian has been by my side throughout the best times (New Orleans Saints winning the super bowl) and worst times of my life (Philidelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl), and at the end of the day I know I can always count on him. All jokes aside, Ian has been more then a brother to me, he is one of my best friends; and now I am lucky enough to count him as one of my groomsman.
Jaclyn Holmes

Jaclyn grew up in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and has been one of Bretts best friends for many years; she was the first friend of Bretts I ever met & it didn't take me long to realize that I too had found a best friend in her. Over the last six years Jaclyn and I have been known to share many laughs, the occasional tears and even a house; Brett and I both lived with Jaclyn in our second year of dating in what was affectionately referred to as "The Frat House" or in my terms 'the biggest test of our relationship'. Jaclyn has been a constant pillar of support for both of us, and we couldn't imagine saying, 'I do', without her by our side!
