San Diego Zoo
We love the zoo and visit regularly! Hopefully the pandas will still be there in November.
Balboa Park
Filled with gardens, museums, and some pretty good food too. Just down the street from the zoo. We recommend the Japanese Friendship Garden - its where we took our engagement photos.
Little Italy
One of Brett's favorite places in town. Its gotten busier as its gotten nicer, but a great spot for shopping and food. We recommend Zucchero for some pastries or the farmer's market on Saturday mornings.
North Park
Eclectic neighborhood not far from our home and where we do a lot of our eating and drinking when we go out. Good place to grab a meal, shop, and bar hop. Try Alexander's on 30th, CinKuni, Coin-Op Game Room, or Modern Times, Mike Hess Brewing, or any of the other many breweries in the area.
Mount Soledad Memorial Park
Not a whole lot to do here, but the amazing view is worth it for a short trip or picnic.
Seaport Village
A bit of a tourist trap, but hey - if you're looking at this you're probably gonna be a tourist here and it's a pretty good trap. Good for browsing random trinkets and eating/drinking down by the ocean.
SeaWorld San Diego
We've actually never been here together, but it's Sea World. Why not?
