We grew up in the same county. He was home schooled in Halls and I was in public school in Ripley. Our dads did even business together and we STILL never met. We didn't know each other existed until we had classes and were in the Agronomy club together at UT Martin. And even then, we still never spoke a word to one another. A year after we both graduated UT Martin with our agriculture degrees, we both became single around the same time when our lengthy relationships ended. He reached out to me and slowly over a few weeks wore down all my walls I had built. We had our first date at Applebees in Dyersburg (because I'm obsessed with their wings) and then he called in sick to work so he could take me to the rodeo in Martin. I knew then he was really serious about me because if you know him, he's not the kind to call in sick unless he's darn-near dying. I accidentally posted a picture on Facebook so his work buddies found out and hounded him for ditching work which was so funny. Two years and 9 months later, here we are. I almost missed him.
