How Cori and Brett fell in love

From awkward middle school years to now

As most people know the Kuests and McMillens have always been close, with the friendship between the fathers and the eventual naming of kids after one another. Therefore it was only a matter if time until there was a Kuest and McMillen wedding! And of course it was going to be with Brett- with 2 T’s I might add- named after Cori’s father. Even though it seemed like they were supposed to get together they did not originally intend that but it still happened. Eventually word got out to their friends that they liked each other and then that was history, their friends would be determined to get them together-which they did successfully! So Cori and Brett are together finally...well not quite yet. Unfortunately, it took Brett almost a whole school year to gain up the confidence and ask her so he asked her out only 3 days before the end of 7th grade to which she replied “sure”. Now they were together! As middle schoolers “dating” they would have “walking dates” which was basically them walking around in circles talking during recess. This puppy love continued on until highschool where it got serious- I love you meant something more and they both knew they were in it for the long haul. Finally college came around and both decided to Grand Canyon University and though both loved it, college is tough and they realized that with all the chaos and indecisiveness going around in their lives one thing has remained constant, their relationship. This is why they love each other and that is how they fell in love (and eventually got engaged!)
