What are you holding in the save the date?

Answer

Yes, that is a live lobster :O)

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttle bus schedule: 3pm - pickup from Westin River North and Residence Inn River North 10pm - pickup guests at the end of the reception. One bus will go to Westin and the other to Residence Inn We strongly encourage our local friends to join the shuttle buses. Please remember the Festival of Lights parade on Michigan Ave is the same night as our reception and there will be road closures and crowds.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4pm. Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to get settled before we walk down the aisle

What is the dress code?

Answer

Somewhere between Cocktail and Semi-Formal: Wear suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses. Bridal party will not be in tuxedos but if you want to wear yours, go ahead. Show us your style :O) Please note that it can be chilly in Novenber in Chicago. Our venue is indoors but we want you to be comfortable. Think about bringing a jacket or wrap or just plan on dancing your booty off to stay warm!

We are registered through Zola and Amazon and our china is through a Bloomingdale's registry. Please click on the Registry tab for quick links to all three

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 17, 2017. You can RSVP electronically on our website!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children but please leave them at home or in the hotel. We want you to let loose, have fun and be present for our special day. Please let us know if you need a babysitter for your children on Saturday. We are happy to give you a list of names!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our entire menu is gluten free and there will be plenty of options to keep non-meat and non-dairy friends happy.

There is a small parking lot in front of the venue

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes but pretend you are on a carnival ride: Please keep all hands and phones inside the aisles at all times. In other words be discreet. We want our official photographer and videographer to get unobstructed views of the event and not of the back of your phone.
