Walkable Plaza with lots of food options, shops and community events. Healsburg can be a little pricey, but you can always find the little spots that are more affordable too!
Beautiful drive (or bike, if your feeling adventurous!) on Dry Creek Road past vineyards galore- a fun shop with sandwiches, gifts and goodies!
Yummy Thai Food
Shops & Food and Brett's FAVORITE ice-cream place.
Best ice-cream in town! We go here all the time! Fun & interesting flavors. Brett's favorite is the Lavender HoneyComb and the Coriander Raspberry. SO GOOD
Nerdy Game store, So fun to look around and see all the creative board games and nerdy stuff.
Lively food park in the historic Roseland Area
Beautiful park with hiking and bike trails in the heart of Santa Rosa!
Where Bob and I met! The hippie haven of Sonoma County, you'll find wierdos in the Plaza at the all-day drum circle on the weekend, witchy shops and good food + drinks.
BEST RAMEN EVER. GO.
A Sebastopol staple. This spot got Brett through Covid. I recommend the Mimi's Mud, Olive Oil ice-cream (trust me), or the Lavender!
Brett's favorite restaurant. Delicious Puerto Rican food, original locations in the East Bay and they opened up one near us and we go when ever we can! I recommend the Pollo al horno!
There are Copperfield's books all over Sonoma, the Petaluma one sells more used books, which I love. Great book store!
Another great hike, park at the Shell Beach parking lot. Cross the highway for Pomo Canyon Trail, or do the Shell Beach walking trail along the coast. Take the majestic staircase down to the rocky beach. The quintessential NorCal beach experience.
One of our favorite hikes on the coast!
Guerneville is a rustic river town with an expressive & well-established LGBTQ+ community. Super eclectic and fun!
Drive all the way HWY 116 all the way through Forestville, Guerneville, Rio Nido and stop at the public beach access at the Russian River. Great for river walks, with scenic towns and lots of places to stop along the way.
